A Little about us

KAZV has served the Central Valley since 1994.  In January of 2010 the Central Valley Media Center took over the operation of KAZV.  

We are dedicated to bringing you the best in local programming.  We encourage business, community and religious leaders in the area to produce their own programming and air it on KAZV-TV. 

Board Members & Meetings
Board meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of each month.  The public is invited.

Lynette Scott, President.  A transplant from down under (Australia) She has resided in Modesto for over ten years.  Lynette is a Registered nurse and a triathalon competitor.

Brad Johnson, Vice President.  Brad lives in Salida where he owns and operates a radio station.  He is also a member of the Salida town council. 

Louise Baker, Treasurer.  Louise is a published author, writer, director and producer of movies and TV.  She retired from her administrative position at Modesto City Schools in December  of 2010 after 32 years of service.

Michelle Richardson, Secretary.   Michelle is Modesto's own Jazz Queen.  She has been performing in the area for several years as well as touring the country with Ernie Buscio's Little Big Band.  She hosts California Songwriter on KAZV.

George Baker, Board member, Station General Manager.  George produces and hosts Central Valley Sunrise, which airs every monring LIVE at 7 am.
George is a writer, producer and director of film and TV.  He has worked as an Assistant District Attorney, had his own law practice and taught at MJC in the Communications Department.

Carol Lancaster Mingus, Board Member.  Emmy award winning Television producer and long time PBS producer.  Former head of MJC film and televison department. 

James Scott, Board Member.  Jim hails from New Zealand.  He is the owner and operator of Inperspective Photography.  Jim is our in house technical support.

Lewis Harp, Board Member.  Lew is a striving actor.  He produces Big Valley Scene and owns and operates LewKnight Productions.

Janeiro Freeda, Board member.  Janeiro is a Hip Hop/Rap artist and music and TV producer.  His production company is PenPoint productions.

Donna Harp, Board Member.  Long time local commmunity supporter.  Donna is active with the Kids Catch A Smile program.
